The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 8, reveal that
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will face Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) questions,
so he’ll decide to tell her more about the Newman-Abbott feud that’s erupted many times over the years.
Victor will school Claire on why there’s so much animosity and could perhaps argue that you always have to be careful when it comes to their rival family.
Although Victor hired Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to run Glissade with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), that doesn’t mean he’d be OK with Kyle dating his granddaughter.
Victor has noticed Claire and Kyle’s growing connection, so he may warn her that it’s best not to get too close!
Another round of Abbott-Newman clashing is brewing, so Victor will hope to keep Claire out of the mess.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), they’ll bicker over the best strategy to help Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) now that she’s spinning out over Kyle and considering some custody-related moves.
Nick may think they should focus on getting Summer to settle down and see that she’s overreacting.
Phyllis will have a far riskier plan in mind, so Nick will worry about his wildcard ex and the possibility that she’ll make matters worse.
In Paris, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will have an unexpected reunion with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
It appears the tour will make a stop in Paris next, so Christine and Danny will use this chance to pay Traci a visit.
Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) also has some new Y&R scenes coming up, so Christine and Danny may notice his budding romance with Traci soon enough.
