Dean Wicks’ (Matt Di Angelo) murder trial – for a crime he didn’t commit – is fast approaching in EastEnders next week.
Fans of the BBC One soap will remember that six Walford women; Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish), have had an eventful few months attempting to coverup their involvement in Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder.
Keanu was, of course, stabbed to death by Linda on Christmas Day, and his body was then buried beneath the burnt out café by the other ladies.
However, the women didn’t do the best job of cementing over his grave, and before long the floor caved in and his body was found.
After learning that Linda’s rapist Dean had been plotting to jeopardise his daughter Jade’s (Elizabeth Green) health by compromising her medication, The Six then took to desperate measures to frame him for the death.
Stacey took the brave job of planting the weapon amongst his belongings, and with him planning to flee to the States with Jade, it made it appear that he was trying to get away from the crime scene.
Banged up, he continued to protest his innocence – and was even visited by Keanu’s mum Karen (Lorraine Stanley), who was doubtful over his innocence.
In upcoming scenes, Dean’s plea hearing leaves Linda struggling under the weight of the truth once again.

Elsewhere, Keanu’s sister Bernie (Clair Norris) feels deflated when Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) tells her he is unable to attend, but her attention soon focuses on Linda’s odd behaviour as she tries to evade her questioning.
Over at No. 43, Sharon and Linda have a heart to heart about Dean’s past behaviour and the upcoming trial, but later it seems that not even the support of her best mate is enough.

As Dean’s murder trial looms closer, tensions run high in Walford. The Six continue to grapple with the aftermath of their coverup and attempt to frame him for Keanu’s murder.
Linda finds herself struggling once again as the weight of the truth bears down on her. Her odd behavior begins to raise suspicions among those closest to her, including Bernie and Sharon.
Despite Sharon’s efforts to reassure Linda, it seems that even the support of her best friend may not be enough to keep her afloat. With the upcoming trial, the truth threatens to unravel everything.
