Fans will be seeing explosive scenes on Coronation Street next week.

Spoilers for next week see Kit Green ‘rumbled’ as his lies appear to be exposed. Elsewhere on the cobbles, Joel Deering is exposed thanks to a slew of incriminating evidence.

Kit Green ‘rumbled’ as his lies ‘exposed’

Kit Green will find himself ‘rumbled’ next week on Coronation Street.

Soap fans will recall that Kit made an appearance earlier this year as Bernie Winter’s long-lost son. However, Bernie soon learnt the hard way that she had been set up by her long-lost son, weeks on from them reuniting after decades apart. Kit can’t forgive his biological mum for abandoning him and not making contact when he was younger with him attempting to turn her other two children, Gemma Winter and Paul Foreman, against her.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, police officer Kit planted a then missing Lauren Bolton’s DNA to frame Nathan Curtis, who was arrested, with real culprit Joel Deering still at large. While last week, Kit got into secret cahoots with criminal Sid and his dodgy counterfeit T-shirt business, warning he wont say a word as long as he gets half the cut of profits.

In scenes last week, there was more mystery teased for Kit as he moved into Glenda Shuttleworth’s old room at the Rovers pub, realising it’s gossip central and will serve him nicely. Later in the week, as he moved into the Rovers, he decided to flirt with Daisy Midgeley. Meanwhile, Daisy’s love interest, Ryan Connor, was impressed with Kit’s vinyl selection and suggested going out for a drink. What does Kit want with Daisy and Ryan, and why is he moving into the Rovers?

And next week teases more drama for Kit as one resident gets very suspicious about his recent behaviour. In spoilers for next week, Daisy is left furious over Ryan’s new friendship with Kit as he would rather spend his night off with him instead of her. Meanwhile, later that week, there’s a dramatic development in the Lauren case with Kit potentially ‘rumbled’.

Viewers will recall that Lauren made a shock comeback last month as Cait Fitton reprised her role. Weeks on from a brutal attack by Joel, which Weatherfield residents still don’t know about, Lauren, who was believed to be dead, was revealed to be alive with Nathan framed for the crime after Roy Cropper was initially wrongly arrested.

Next week sees DS Swain haul Sarah Platt in for questioning. After denying planting Lauren’s DNA in Nathan’s van, Sarah urges Daniel Osbourne to persuade Bethany Platt to drop her campaign against Nathan. However, it’s not long until Daniel tells Daisy that he doesn’t trust Kit and something doesn’t sit right about Nathan’s conviction… will Daniel rumble Kit and what else is he hiding?

Joel Deering finally rumbled as cast film final scenes

Joel Deering could finally be exposed next week on Coronation Street amid reports actor Calum Lill is set to be leaving the soap soon. Fans will recall that Lauren Bolton made a shock comeback last month as Cait Fitton reprised her role. Weeks on from a brutal attack by Joel, which Weatherfield residents still don’t know about, Lauren, who was believed to be dead, was revealed to be alive.

And things only got more explosive when Joel confronted Lauren at the hospital, where Lauren protected her stomach revealing she was five months pregnant with his baby in a huge bombshell. Joel had been hiding Lauren in an empty flat as he attempted to get her move to Ireland sorted.

However, only recently, in evil and disgusting scenes, Joel drugged pregnant Lauren with pills that would bring on an early labour, resulting in her being rushed to hospital. In scenes last week, Lauren was terrified as her prematurely born son was rushed to an incubator as she feared whether he will survive.

In scenes last week, Joel’s wife-to-be Dee-Dee Bailey started to get suspicious of Joel as she spotted a notification on his laptop asking him to rate his experience at Belfast Airport to which he made excuses. Later in the week, Dee-Dee handed Joel’s ex-wife Emily a fairy charm for their daughter Maeve’s bracelet, suggesting she might like to be a flower girl at their wedding.

When Emily revealed that Maeve doesn’t have a charm bracelet and warned her to be careful as Joel’s still paying rent on his old flat, Dee-Dee was confused as she let himself into his old flat to explore. And now in spoilers next week things take an even more explosive turn as Dee-Dee investigates Joel’s real purchase from the jewellers after his lie about buying a bracelet for his baby daughter, and she’s stunned by what she finds.

Then, after she realised Joel had booked a trip to Belfast which left her confused, she realises Lauren is planning to move to this very location. Still not convinced about his claims about why he’d booked the trip, she points out the coincidence with Lauren – but as he claims ignorance, will she catch him out?

Determined to get to the truth, Dee-Dee follows Joel and soon enough she demands the truth. Later in the week the investigation into Nathan Curtis over Lauren’s recent disappearance is reopened it seems – so is this linked to Joel’s lies?

Tracy Barlow mystery amid return as secret teased

Tracy Barlow will be at the centre of a new mystery next week on Coronation Street amid a surprise return for the character. Kate Ford departed the ITV soap when Tracy headed off to Spain to be with her lover Tommy Orpington earlier this year. Leaving her friends and family behind, including Steve McDonald – who she recently had split from, Tracy decided to quit Weatherfield to search for sunnier climes with her new boyfriend, prompting fans to fear actress Kate had quit the soap.

However, Tracy made a surprise return to the cobbles last week amid a new storyline for Ken Barlow and Cassie Plummer. Ken was hospitalised after injuring himself in an accident at home and Cassie had been helping the Barlows to look after Ken whilst they were all busy with their own lives and their work – but when Tracy returned, she wasn’t happy.

When she made her way back to Weatherfield last week, Tracy was shocked to find out Ken is employing Cassie to be his carer. Cassie took offence with Tracy’s comments and Ken was curious why she is back. She said she was just there to be with Amy, but Ken sensed there might be something else she was hiding.

And spoilers for next week tease even more mystery when Tracy boasts about her fabulous life in Spain. However, Cassie is quick to point out that it can’t be that great or she wouldn’t be back in Weatherfield. This observation leaves Tracy fuming but could Cassie be onto something and why is Tracy really back on the cobbles?
