General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, August 14, focus on less intense emotions than the residents of Port Charles have been feeling lately.
Characters learn and take advice from others. They even make an offer. But there’s one character practicing the art of confession.
Suddenly, Willow’s life is in a “boom” and a boomerang situation. “Boom” because on July 4.
She and Drew (Cameron Mathison — who teased Drew and Nina’s romance) caused an explosion of drama when they kissed. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) saw it.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) now knows about it. And whenever Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) crosses paths with the wannabe Congressman, it becomes awkward and awkwardly flirty.
Consequently, her proximity to Drew may be exactly why she is already giving up her cushy charity gig in favor of returning to GH. Is this boomerang move a smart thing to do?
According to teasers, Willow makes a confession. Is this simply about her latest shock career pivot, or does she actually tell Michael (Chad Duell) about the Drew kiss?
Sasha is juggling a few things these days. First, she’s the Quartermaine chef, and creating recipes for everyone in that house this summer is time-consuming. Second, she and Cody (Josh Kelly) are involved. Well, we think they are still together. Actually, there hasn’t been that much focus on this couple, so we’re unsure of their status, to be fair. Third, she’s the keeper of a huge secret, namely, that Drew and Willow kissed. So, why is she suddenly taking Michael’s advice to heart? What advice? And does she have something to tell Michael in turn?
Meanwhile, stable manager Cody still hasn’t made any inroads with Mac (John J. York). It feels like Cody needs some advice to help him take baby steps in his relationship with his biological father. Thankfully, he’s about to learn from Tracy (Jane Elliot). Will she exercise tough love with this latest lesson? (Check out GH Comings & Goings here)
Elsewhere, Sonny (Maurice Benard — who recounts his scenes with Bryan Craig here) is in simmer mode. With Kristina (Kate Mansi) recovering and in revenge mode, he must feel the need to weigh his options. Bring down Ava, or think about the mental health of his daughter and help her heal from this devastating loss? When Sonny makes an offer, who’s on the other end? More importantly, will this person accept the offer?
Finally, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza — who are Gio’s parents? Soap Hub speculates here) end up in deep conversation yet again. The two recently went through an intense situation when they worked together to help save Kristina after the crash and fall into the Metro Court Pool where they work. What does Josslyn reveal to Gio?
