Sonny Corinthos is one of those characters on soaps that can neither be charted as positive nor negative, assert General Hospital Spoilers.
While the Port Charles mobster isn’t entirely irredeemable, he sure has done some very dark deeds in his yesteryears. One of which has returned to wreak havoc on him in the form of Agent “Jagger” Cates.
Jagger holds Sonny responsible for all the atrocities his beloved Karen had to go through over the years. From mental and emotional abuse to drug abuse, the list is endless. It went on and on till she finally passed in a car crash in 2003.
However, decades later John “Jagger” Cates arrived in PC to avenge the trauma she suffered at Sonny’s hands.
Jagger has been using his FBI position to fuel his personal vendetta against Sonny, by trying to bring the mobster to justice. No matter what it costs, and who becomes collateral damage in his vengeance.
But, what if Jagger’s ideas are completely misguided by his personal version of events?
We aren’t saying that Sonny did not do all those things to Karen, but honestly, he had nothing to do with her death, recall General Hospital Spoilers.
Moreover, what if Karen Wexler never actually died? Maybe she used the accident to her advantage and escaped the traumatizing life she was living with folks of Port Charles.
But we know past characters who move away have a way of returning to their roots. Just the way Jagger did. Thus, it is possible that we may see Karen Wexler returning to PC when she gets updates on what’s going on between Jagger and Sonny.
Or she may just return home to reconnect with her father- Scott. We all know Scotty really needs a frontrunner storyline, it has been a while!
If Karen returns and is revealed to be alive, it could totally offset Jagger and Sonny’s dynamic. Do you think JJJ Cates would give up his revenge plan and move on in life?
Or will he end up getting more fueled by Karen’s presence and go after Sonny even harder?
