GH’s Steve Burton & Jonathan Jackson Reunite!
In just a few weeks, Jonathan Jackson will be back on the General Hospital canvas, reuniting Lucky with his friends and family in Port Charles. But the actor already had a special off-camera reunion with longtime friend Steve Burton (Jason)!
An Instagram post shared by Burton’s girlfriend, recipe creator Michelle Lundstrom, showed off the couple’s July activities. Included in the carousel were photos of a birthday celebration, a trip to Disneyland, Burton lighting fireworks, and several shots from a beach trip that seemingly included Jackson and his wife, Elisa, and some of their children! In addition to the image of the two couples dressed up for a double date, Lundstrom also shared a selfie of the four on the beach.
Jackson and Elisa (who went by Lisa Vultaggio when she played FBI Agent Hannah Scott on the soap from 1999-2001) are the parents of three children, Caleb (21), Adora (19), and Titus (13). Meanwhile, Burton shares kids Makena (20), Jack (18), and Brooklyn (10) with his ex-wife, Sheree. “July, you were one of the best,” Lundstrom captioned her gallery of photos, including hashtags like “make the memories” and “vacation fun” in her post.
The friendship between Jackson and Burton spans decades, going back to when the two Daytime Emmy winners worked together on GH around the year 2000. In 2015, while Jackson was starring on the primetime drama Nashville and both men were living in Tennessee, they opened a steakhouse along with a third partner, Rick Shannon, in the Nashville suburb of Franklin. Named Jack and Jameson’s Smokehouse in honor of Burton and Shannon’s sons, the family-friendly restaurant served fare like barbecue and burgers and often had live bands playing on weekends.
Now that Jackson and Burton are back together again on GH, we look forward to seeing more photos of the pals hanging out together in the near future!
