General Hospital fans are getting whiplash from the constant changes. Removing the head writers proved the ABC show was going in the right direction. However, the storylines haven’t lived up to the hype. Most fans are disappointed with Jason Morgan’s storyline. Despite the recent speculation, Steve Burton plans to stick around Port Charles for a while.
Others are frustrated that the show is focusing on the mob. Some are disappointed with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and her mother Natalia (Eva LaRue). Frank Valentini is currently the head writer. Many GH fans are demanding for him to step down.
Ron Carlivati is out as head writer of Days of Our Lives. He was a head writer for General Hospital from 2012 to 2015. He could return. Fans on Reddit and the SoapCentral.com message boards have debated whether he would be better suited for the show.

According to the General Hospital spoilers, James Patrick Stuart could leave the show for good. He played the role of Valentin Cassadine since 2016. He asked Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to leave town with him, but she refused. Does this mean that Valentin is leaving for good?
James Patrick Stuart hasn’t announced his departure from the soap. Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) just returned to the show. She’s been playing the resident villain since she was seven years old. GH fans watched her blossom into a teenager.
Charlotte’s mom hasn’t been there for much of her growth. Like Charlotte, Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) return to Port Charles was also short-lived. He suddenly departed from the show. But if Jason Morgan sticks around, then Jake could come back at some point.
