General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are dealing with their grief in very different ways right now.
TJ has been trying to throw his energy into all the tasks that need to be done in the aftermath of the baby’s demise – like picking a name.
Packing up the nursery and planning the funeral.
Molly, on the other hand, has been avoiding all that and pushing TJ away in the process.
It’s just too painful for Molly, so she’s mostly been focusing on throwing her anger at Ava Jerome (Maura West).
However, Molly can’t shut off all her other feelings as much as she might want to. This loss is going to hit her hard when she finally takes the time to slow down and mourn.
All Molly’s pent-up emotions are going to explode, so that could lead to her causing quite a scene at the baby’s funeral.
It’s easy to imagine Molly totally losing it at that point with a major outburst that leaves Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) concerned.
If the funeral happens during the week of August 12-16, then Molly may have some sort of breakdown and set the stage for her father’s comeback.
Will Molly’s troubling behavior cause Alexis to send Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) an SOS?
Alexis’ distress call might be what brings Ric home soon after since he’s set to pop back up on-screen during the week of August 19-23.
Naturally, Ric may find other storylines to get involved in later, but the initial reason for his return will presumably involve grieving Molly since she could really use her dad’s support.
Based on our GH predictions, Molly and TJ’s relationship could be put to the test like never before in the coming weeks.
Although Molly has been comforting Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) in the hospital, their bond as sisters may ultimately be tested as well now that the baby’s gone.
Alexis and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will be there for Molly in her time of need, but it’ll be nice for Ric to come home and reconnect with Molly, too.
