General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, August 7 tease placebos exposed, suspect confronted, and an emergency room visit!

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) learns his meds are placebos, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is confronted in the PCPD jail and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) makes an emergency room visit!

Portia Robinson Is Hopeful

At the hospital, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is hopeful, but realistic, as she talks to her daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Portia more than likely is talking about Ava, as she tells Trina good people are capable of doing bad things.

Portia knew Ava has done more good for her daughter and hadn’t seen this kind of situation with Ava before.

Trina is feeling torn over Ava, although she did tell the truth to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about what she saw after Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) went through the window.

Placebos Exposed

After Sonny’s experience seeing his dead son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) on the rooftop as Sonny was suicidal, he finally got some sense and went to see Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

Sonny realized there was something wrong with him, finally, and told Kevin he needed some help and he couldn’t take it anymore. Kevin ran a blood test and it will certainly expose the fact that Sonny’s bipolar meds have been placebos!

This will answer a lot of questions for Sonny that he had been avoiding, but maybe what Morgan said about his pills having been placebos struck a nerve in his father!

TJ Ashford Explodes

Elsewhere, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) explodes in rage to his mother Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Stella Henry (Vernée Watson).

He shouts that “not at any time did I expect this!”  Is he still blaming the victim, Kristina, for the loss of his baby, or is he now angry at Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos)?

TJ is not handling the situation very well, although it is understandable.

Perhaps Stella, who is a patient advocate with training in helping people cope with grief can get through to TJ. It’s just a terrible situation for all who are involved.

 Suspect Confronted

In the meantime, Molly is at the PCPD confronting Ava in her holding cell, as Ava hisses at her that she’s not responsible for the loss of her baby!

Perhaps she should remember she’s talking to the assistant district attorney and Molly could make things really rough for her in court.

In all honesty Molly should probably recuse herself from the case and let Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) handle it-she’s too close to the situation.

It doesn’t look like Ava and Molly are going to be able to discuss this highly emotional situation calmly.

Sonny Explains To Jason Morgan

At Sonny’s penthouse, Sonny explains what happened to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) after Jason learns the news.

Mid-sentence, Jason asks “that was”? Sonny tells him he felt the only way out was-and Jason asked what stopped him. Sonny might confide in Jason that he saw Morgan and what Morgan as a ghost or hallucination talked him down.

Sonny is finally getting some answers thanks to Kevin and the blood test results, and Sonny seems already calmer. It’s a wonder what being on the right dose of your meds can do!

GH Spoilers: Emergency Room Visit!

Donna makes an emergency room visit as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) tells Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst)  they need to see a doctor  now!

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is close behind them, are they there for Donna, or has someone called  about Sonny?

Somehow they’ll find out what happened with Sonny, but they could run into each other at GH. Jason also will rush to GH, so perhaps he calls Carly and lets her know Sonny’s found so Donna can see he’s okay.
