For a hot mini-second, we couldn’t comprehend how she could’ve gotten one. But then, her caption revealed it all.
Turns out, Kirsten Storms‘ coffee canister had exploded in her face, giving her that massive black eye. “I’ve opened several canisters of @illy_coffee tins and never have the grounds exploded out of that cute metal container. ::sigh:: There is a first time for everything,” the daytime star explained.
Thankfully it appears that the black eye is actually not a bruise but ground coffee. Furthermore, the General Hospital actress clarified that the coffee company is not to be blamed, as they have written the warning on the canisters, in several different languages. However, it is safe to say that she did not really enjoy the coffee on her face.
