Emmerdale has delved deep into the shocking aftermath of Rose Jackson’s sudden disappearance. Earlier this week, tensions reached a boiling point when Rose, under relentless pressure from Will Taylor, admitted to conspiring with Ruby Fox Milligan to sabotage Will’s marriage to Kim Tate. The revelation led to a dramatic expulsion as Kim and Will forced Rose to leave Home Farm, setting the stage for a sinister cliffhanger as Rose disappeared along the roadside.
In the latest episode, which aired on August 2nd, PC Sutherland arrived at Home Farm with unsettling questions. The police had discovered Rose’s abandoned bag, which raised serious concerns. To divert suspicion, Kim and Will decided to hide the truth about Rose’s departure. Will fabricated a story, claiming Rose had gone on a wild drinking spree and lost her bag in the process.
Kim, not easily convinced, countered Will’s claims. She was furious, pointing out that she was not the one who had disappeared and returned with nearly broken knuckles. Their argument was interrupted by Dawn, who arrived just as Will scrambled to create another cover-up. He told Dawn that the police had returned Rose’s bag after she had been involved in a bar brawl. Despite Will’s quick thinking, Dawn was skeptical and started to suspect Kim might have had a hand in driving Rose away.
Desperate to maintain the deception, Will spun yet another tale, claiming Rose had tried to break into a safe and fled when caught. Dawn, confused and feeling guilty for previously doubting Kim, apologized, and the two women reconciled. However, the strain between Kim and Will was evident as they accused each other of being responsible for Rose’s disappearance.
In a heated exchange, both Kim and Will denied having anything to do with Rose’s vanishing. Will, determined to keep the truth buried, warned Kim that revealing more details would only create more problems. Kim, weary of the endless lies, questioned Will’s fidelity. Despite his assurances that he had not been unfaithful to her with Rose, Kim remained cautious and issued a stern warning, “Don’t make me regret this. I don’t handle disappointment well.”
