A legendary Dingle is eyeing a return to Emmerdale.

This comes after her character appearing in episodes of Classic Emmerdale being aired on ITV3. Hayley Tamaddon, 47, played Delilah Dingle between 2005 and 2007.

During the character’s times in the soap, she was involved in many big storylines. 

Many Emmerdale fans have contacted Hayley, after watching Classic Emmerdale, 

demanding she makes a return to the ITV soap – as she was a popular member of the Dingle clan.

“Soooo many messages like this in my inbox! Ahhhh I’d return in a heartbeat,” She wrote, 

on Instagram, addressing a comment from an Emmerdale fan. “This show was the start of my TV career.

“I owe it a lot. Happy memories of Delilah Dingle.”

After Emmerdale, Hayley played Andrea Beckett in fellow ITV soap Coronation Street between 2013 and 2015. Elsewhere, she’s enjoyed successful theatre spells.

Hayley has played roles such as Roxie Hart in Chicago and Miss Hedge in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. We’ll keep you posted on her possible Emmerdale return.
