Suki is set to sit down for lunch with son Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) at Walford East to discuss their plans for dying Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).

With Nish having written everyone out of his will, Suki and Vinny have come up with a plan to get their hands on his inheritance, which has so far involved Vinny sucking up to him.

Their discussion is soon brought to a halt, however, when the man himself appears – but he isn’t alone.

Suki is left stunned when she realises that the woman with him is Ayesha – the widow of Hardeep, the man Nish murdered over 20 years ago.

Nish had believed that he had been having an affair with Suki and killed him in a jealous rage – unaware that he had got things totally wrong.

Last year, Suki finally admitted to him that she wasn’t having an affair with Hardeep, but was actually interested in his wife.

Face to face again all these years later, there is no time for pleasantries between the two women before Ayesha launches a verbal attack on Nish for his crime.

She soon flees the restaurant, with Suki hot on her tail, and the pair head back to No.41 for a serious chat.

Later, they head to the Queen Vic with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace), and Nish sees an opportunity to meddle in their relationship, by planting a seed of doubt in Eve’s mind about Suki and Ayesha’s close bond.

The next day, Eve grows irritated when Suki sings Ayesha’s praises, but after a conversation with her girlfriend, she softens.

She is quick to speak to Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) about her concerns, who insists that Nish must just be manipulating the situation.

When she later has a run-in with Nish at the cafe, she decides that enough is enough, and heads the the Vic to propose to Suki.
