Fans have hit out at the BBC soap after Alfie Moon and Linda Carter have failed to be seen together despite their close bond.

Alfie had long been a shoulder for Linda to cry on amid her own personal woes.
They were one of the few Walford duos to enjoy a platonic friendship where they were able to help one another with their grievances.
Linda supported Alfie where she could during his prostate cancer battle whilst he returned the favour during her alcoholism battle and losing husband Mick Carter.

In recent times, the pair have failed to be seen on screen with one another which has sparked alarm among hardcore EastEnders fans.

Hitting out at the lack of appearances, one fan fumed: “Where has Alfie and Linda’s friendship gone? #Eastenders.”

Another added: “Alfie remember linda exists challenge! x”
Before a third commented: “Loving seeing Alfie and Kat together so much but I also need to see him and his supportive friend Linda together again.”
Linda has kept her demons regarding her killing of Keanu a secret from Alfie which could be one of the biggest reasons for their dwindling friendship.
Meanwhile, Alfie has been pre-occupied with son Tommy whose violent streak has begun to emerge.
Shocked viewers have already seen Tommy (Sonny Kendal) lash out and punch Kat (Jessie Wallace) in the stomach after blaming her for ‘ruining his street cred at school’ after divorcing Walford hardman Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), who he idolises.

Tommy then called the police on her after she knocked him over in self-defence, accusing her of abusing him.
He then set his sights on his younger twin brothers Bert and Ernie as part of his villainous new ways.
In scenes on the BBC soap, Kat opens up to her ex Alfie Moon, the teen’s original stepdad, about her fears and he agrees to help her.
They are hopeful that as a couple they are able to make a difference with Tommy’s behaviour.
