Corrupt businessman Rowan Cunliffe (Emryhs Cooper) continues to use Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) to his advantage in Coronation Street soon, as he works to blackmail her partner Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).

Leanne joined The Institute a few months ago and has become somewhat obsessed. She believes it has completely changed her life for the better, unaware it is actually a cult.

Thanks to Rowan’s manipulation tactics, Leanne feels comfortable enough to tell him well, absolutely everything.

Unbeknownst to her, Rowan also happens to be aware of some vital information – Nick and Toyah’s (Georgia Taylor) affair.

When they were kissing on the balcony of the flat, they failed to spot someone taking a photograph of them. The image was then sent to Rowan and soon, he will use this power over Nick again.

As Leanne puts pressure on Amy (Elle Mulvaney) to join the cult, Nick takes Toyah for her appointment at the hospital.

Later in the week, as Toyah searches the internet in vain, hoping to find more dirt on Rowan, he is seen putting pressure on Nick to invest in the new resource centre.

In this new video, he arrives at the Bistro office and tells Nick that the new resource centre is very important to Leanne and just wants to make her happy.

Rowan then suggests if Nick gives the cult his money, he would not only keep his wife happy, but relieve his guilty conscience as well. Nick tries to turn the tables but once again, Rowan ends up in control. He leaves Nick troubled, but will he go through with the investment?

Meanwhile, after rifling through Rowan’s jacket pockets, Toyah finds his driving licence and reverse images the picture of him.

But if she finds some information, will it be enough to destroy him before Leanne discovers Nick and Toyah’s betrayal?

Meanwhile, Toyah takes matters into her own hands by investigating Rowan and finding incriminating information on his driving licence. The question remains – will Toyah’s discovery be enough to take down Rowan before Leanne uncovers the truth about Nick and Toyah’s betrayal?
