Lucy-Jo Hudson, the actress known for her roles on both Hollyoaks and Coronation Street, has just shared the joyous news of a new baby in the family.
Baby Reuben has officially joined the clan, as seen in delightful pictures posted on Lucy-Jo’s Instagram where she introduces her nephew to her followers.
Amidst these family moments captured in photographs, Lucy-Jo can be seen holding Reuben close, with her daughter Sienna nearby,
who she parents with fellow Corrie alum Alan Halsall. Her son Carter, from her current partner Lewis Devine, is also pictured, alongside Reubens big sister Esther.
Taking to Instagram, Lucy-Jo penned a heartfelt welcome: “The newest addition to the family Welcome Baby Reuben.
He’s an absolute beauty, congratulations @oliviadevinex @joshdaley07 he’s already a credit to you, as is Esther, his big sis (on the right of the pic above).”
Lucy-Jo’s caption continued: “Swipe to see Sienna adoring the baby and Carter more interested in his ice lolly or lolly ice as @lewisdevineofficial would say.” Olivia Devine, mother to Reuben and sister to Lewis, responded with warmth: “Aww he loved his cuddles with you all! We can’t wait to make more memories”.
Amid the slew of well-wishes, one comment read: “Beautiful family congratulations”, while another echoed: “A wonderful family”. With her daughter Sienna-Rae born in September 2013, Lucy-Jo shares her with then-husband Alan, whom she was married to from 2009 until their divorce in 2018, reports OK!. Lucy-Jo is currently with Lewis and together they welcomed their son, Carter, into the world in 2020.
Lucy-Jo Hudson recently shared a series of family photos from their holiday on the Isle of Man, where her partner Lewis Devine grew up. She wrote: “Well this is a first for me, in the Isle of Man, but this is where my @lewisdevineofficial childhood was, so he’s loving reminiscing with his family, and we’re loving making memories with the kids. It’s old school but I love that, we’ve been to Port Erin, Douglas, we’re heading up the mountain tomorrow, we’ve been to the beach, been on a steam train… and it’s been so lovely and chilled! ” Among the pictures was one of Lucy-Jo wearing a ‘Wild at Heart’ T-shirt, a nod to one of her earliest roles as Rosie Trevanion.
More recently, Lucy-Jo portrayed Donna-Marie Quinn in Hollyoaks, but left the role in 2023 after five years. Upon her departure, she said: “It has been a rollercoaster of emotions for Donna-Marie over the past 5 years…. But I can honestly say I have loved every minute of playing this loveable character! The tears, the tantrums, the one liners, the laughter… she was one of a kind and I will miss her…. and her teeth.”
