Coronation Street star Jane Hazlegorve has shared her love for her co-star after she cheekily posted a behind-the-scenes photo of the pair.
The actress is much loved among fans for playing Bernie Winter in the ITV soap.
Jane joined the cast back in 2019 and at the time, her new character was described as “an old raver who still sees herself as a free spirit.
She is not one to be tied down to a man, a job or any responsibilities, especially when it means hard work for her.”
But, after settling into the street, she’s revealed herself to have a big heart who would fight tooth and nail for her loved ones.
Bernie, who has a new comedy storyline that sees her roped into a dodgy money-making scheme.
After meeting her doppelganger Fern played by Gabrielle Glaister, has found love with Dev Alahan and is closer than ever to her children.
And behind the scenes, Jane is just as close to her on-screen family. Taking to Instagram, the former Holby City star shared a photo of herself and Dolly-Rose Campbell, who plays Gemma Winter, grabbing 40 winks.
The pair could be seen each with their heads resting on their Chesney Brown co-star Sam Aston’s shoulders as he looked straight at the camera with a slightly unimpressed face.
Captioning the post, Jane brilliantly wrote: “Everybody needs a Chesney for a pillow! When me and @dolly_rose_campbell need a little snooze, this man @samaston93 has broad shoulders! Bless him.. he loves us madly!!”
Sam, who has now been part of the long-running soap for more than 20 years, was quick to respond to the post, writing: “I can’t believe you posted it [crying laughing emoji]. Love you really,” before Jane replied: “Couldn’t help myself… love you more gorgeous.”
Dolly-Rose also commented on the post, sharing a string of love heart eyes emojis. Abi Webster actress Sally Carman-Duttine commented: “Love this,” while Paddy Bever, who plays Corrie’s Max Turner, posted: “Can still hear you laughing at this!”
And Jane’s fans and followers were loving the update. @dawnbramhall said: “Cuties.” @yasmin_xx20 commented: “Aww sweet Love this.” @ca.roline747474 wrote: “Aw love you guys.” @frankhamjoanne8 shared: “Aw so so beautiful. Love you all together. You all make a beautiful family.”
