A dramatic new development in the feud between Kit Green and Bernie Winter has surfaced on Coronation Street. It turns out that Kit, who had previously given the twins up for adoption, has now revealed himself as their long-lost brother. In a shocking turn of events, Kit has turned against their mother and even pressured Craig Tinker into making a damaging confession.
On the episode aired on Wednesday, July 24, Kit’s spiteful side became evident. Gemma, already struggling with financial difficulties, was anxiously facing the possibility of losing her family home. The landlord was showing the property to potential buyers due to their financial woes. To Gemma’s astonishment, Kit was one of the prospective buyers. He claimed his intentions were honorable, but Gemma and Chesney were perplexed by his sudden interest in purchasing their home.
Kit explained that he inherited some money from his late mother and wanted to buy their house so his half-sister and her family could continue living there. “For me, it’s an investment,” Kit said. “You guys get to stay in your house, and I get it. Everyone’s happy.”
However, Bernie was far from impressed by Kit’s gesture. She was visibly irked by how Gemma had been outmaneuvered by her estranged son. Bernie responded with a cold laugh when Kit asked if they could move past their differences. “No chance,” Bernie said. “To be honest with you, I don’t like you. I’ll make sure everything stays lovely for them too, but I never will.”
