Rowan Tightens Grip On Nick Tilsley
Rowan Cunliffe has intensified his blackmailing game in the due episodes. He is demanding more money from Nick to keep his one-night stand with Toyah a secret from Leanne. At the same time, Amy Barlow is set to join The Institute. However, when Rowan praises Amy Barlow, Leanne gets jealous.
Previously, Nick discovered that Rowan had sent someone to photograph him and Toyah hugging. This sent him into fury. Consequently, he assaulted the evil cult leader. Now, Rowan is demanding £20k from Nick, threatening to report him for assault if he doesn’t pay up.
Meanwhile, Nick makes a big confession to David Platt, saying he’s falling in love with Toyah. This comes after Toyah’s ovarian cancer diagnosis. Initially, she thought she might be pregnant. However, her doctor made it clear that a false positive test could mean cancer.
After more tests, it was confirmed that Toyah has germ-cell ovarian cancer and needs surgery to remove a tumour. But now that Nick has feelings for Toyah, how will things turn out? Also, will he pay Rowan? There are strong possibilities that Rowan might turn evil and expose Nick & Toyah’s affair to Leanne.
