Nick Tilsley confessed his true feelings about Toyah Habeeb last week and Corrie fans want them to take their relationship further but there’s one problem.
Corrie fans are urging Nick Tilsley (played by Ben Price) to dump Institute obsessive Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and move on with her sister after confessing his true feelings. Last week, Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor) was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and headed for a doctors appointment.
When she emerged to find Nick waiting outside for her, Toyah burst into tears and the pair hugged as she told him to ignore her previous wishes of not wanting any support.
But when a man took photos of their embrace, Nick fumed at the thought of Rowan Cunliffe’s (Emrhys Cooper) spying on them, given the man knew all about Nick’s recent fling with Toyah.
Nick stormed into Debbie Webster’s (Sue Devaney) hotel, where Rowan was hosting an Institute event, and punched him while Leanne looked on horrified.
He also exposed Rowan’s past life to his guests before giving fuming Leanne an edited version of Rowan’s spying and the motives behind it.
Leanne later told Toyah she was removing herself from supporting her through her cancer treatment as Nick remain protective.
Toyah told Nick to remember they weren’t a couple as they were shocked by Leanne’s latest declaration.
But later, Nick told his half-brother David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) that he was falling in love with Toyah and expressed his devastation at her cancer diagnosis saying “he wanted to cry”.
Corrie fans are now urging Nick to dump Leanne in favour for Toyah. Taking to X, one fan wrote: “Nick just get with Toyah! You and Leanne have been dead in water for ages now anyway!!! #Corrie.”
A second declared: “Nick needs to leave Leanne she too far gone #Corrie”, while a third chimed in: “wwwwww Nick has fallen in love with Toyah #corrie nawwwww my heart.”
“#Corrie So if Nick & Toyah pair up, Leanne can get her wish & get herself a virtual boyfriend to go with her AI son, Oliver & live miserably ever after!”, demanded one fan.
“Toyah and Nick would make a much better couple #Corrie”, echoed another.
