Coronation Street fans have “worked out” the real reason Kit Green has moved into the Rovers – and it’s not looking good for landlady Jenny Connor.
Bent copper Kit, played by Jacob Roberts, first rocked up to the cobbles this year, as Bernie’s (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost child.
Soap favourite Bernie gave up Christopher ‘Kit’ Green for adoption almost thirty years ago.
And a few months ago, she eventually tracked him down. Meanwhile, Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell).
And Paul (Peter Ash) were left stunned to find out they had another brother.
What’s more, Kit also had a part to play in sicko Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) getting sent to prison for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).
Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan’s van and framed him.
Since then, Kit has become a regular on the cobbles – but viewers are still seriously suspicious of the officer.
Especially as over in the ITV soap recently, he moved into the beloved pub, Rovers Return, bagging Glenda Shuttleworth’s (Jodie Prenger) old room.
However, fans have been left baffled over Kit’s decision to move into the pub, as they pointed out he has a plush-looking home, which was seen in his first scenes on the soap.
What’s more, other viewers reckon Kit has an ulterior motive as to why he moved into the Rovers – and it’s bad news for landlord Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews).
Rushing over to social media, fans claimed Kit could be planning a siege or robbery. On a Corrie Facebook fan page, one person said: “Kit moving into the rovers…
“How long till a potential siege as he is a dodgy cop.. could be a storyline to look out for potentially maybe.. not heard out but could be interesting,” they added. (sic)
Someone else wrote: “I don’t understand why he’s moved there? Perhaps he’s planning some sort of robbery, I wouldn’t put it past him.”
A third replied: “He’s probably going to try and take down the Rovers.”
As another penned: “Not again! I hope not.”
