Beth Tinker will risk being caught by police over her criminal plot in Coronation Street.

In recent weeks, Beth has been using the equipment at Underworld as part of her illegal side hustle to sew logos onto counterfeit T-shirts.
Her plot has already been rumbled by Underworld’s newest employee Betsy Swain, thus forcing Beth to cut her in on the profits to avoid exposure.
The soap is set to air dramatic scenes on Friday (August 2) when a mix-up at Underworld sees her counterfeit clothing mixed in with an official delivery from the factory.

Next week, Beth will receive a lifeline when she intercepts the Underworld delivery and retrieves her knockoff clothing.

Beth hurries to the ginnel for a secret meeting with her contact Sid to deliver the stolen goods, just as her son, police officer Craig Tinker, arrives with his colleague Kit.

Craig and Kit have questions for Beth about why she’s meeting with Sid. Beth gets away without revealing her scam, before trying to turn it into a full-time job.
She announces that she will quit her job at Underworld, yet the whole plot suddenly unravels when Sid withdraws his job offer.
Beth ends up jobless and still at risk of exposure for the dodgy counterfeiting scheme she’d run at Underworld.

In later scenes, Beth is forced to return to the factory to beg Carla for her old job back. Will Beth’s former boss be willing to rehire her?
These scenes begin airing on Monday, August 5.
