On Wednesday’s instalment of Coronation Street, the episode kicked off with lovebirds Joel Deering (Calum Lill) and Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) speaking about their wedding.
Revealing they were planning on tying the knot on September 27th, Dee-Dee was in her engagement bubble, totally unaware of Joel’s past behaviour.

Earlier this year, it was confirmed he was the person behind Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) disappearance as viewers saw him a.t.t.a.c.k. h.e.r in her flat.
Although people feared the missing teen was dead, it was recently confirmed she was in fact alive as she visited Roy Cropper (David Neilson) in hospital.
However, with the constant mention of their wedding date within the first few minutes, fans think they’ve worked out when Joel will get exposed for his sinister ways.
Taking to Twitter one viewer wrote: “Friday the 27th of September. Are we gonna see a load of police swoop into the wedding and arrest Joel? “

While someone else commented: “If they’re getting married at the end of September, l guess that means they’re gonna drag this Joel situation out for another 2 months because we all know it’ll come down to the wire with the wedding.”
During the episode, Dee-Dee and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) managed to track Lauren down to a run-down pub where she had been staying.
Terrified of being discovered, Lauren saw the two girls and made a run for it, only to be found by Joel at the back of the garden.
Clearly terrified of the man who a.t.t.a.c.k.e.d h.e.r, Lauren quickly fainted despite Joel insisting he wouldn’t harm her, knowing his fiance was close by.
It wasn’t long before Dee–Dee and Bethany walked into the garden to find Joel and Lauren, as he quickly managed to tell Lauren to keep quiet about everything,
Visibility distraught, she told them both she felt dizzy and continued to stay away from Weatherfield as she believed everyone hated her.
