In the upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, Betsy Swain, DS Lisa Swain’s daughter, takes a dramatic step to provoke jealousy in Mason Radcliffe. The situation takes a dark turn when Betsy’s attempt to provoke Mason backfires. She admits to Dylan that her public display of affection was meant to make Mason jealous. However, Mason makes it clear that he is not interested, leaving Betsy humiliated. In a desperate move, Betsy steals a customer’s purse and slips it into Mason’s jacket.
When the customer notices her missing purse, she confronts Yasmeen and Stu, leading to a tense moment. As Mason puts on his jacket and realizes the stolen purse has been planted in it, he is horrified. Now, Mason faces the risk of being falsely accused and wonders if Yasmeen and Stu will believe him if he exposes Betsy’s role in the scheme.
