Big drama is hitting Coronation Street as a major relationship faces a shocking end due to infidelity. In the latest episodes, Nick Tilsley makes a pivotal decision about his future with Leanne Battersby. While Leanne has been abroad visiting Simon Barlow and Nick’s son Sam, leaving their flat empty, Nick and Toyah Battersby have been free to spend time together.

With Toyah recovering from cancer surgery, Leanne’s focus has shifted to her sister, leading to apologies and promises to prioritize family over Rowan Cliff’s business. However, Rowan, seeing Leanne’s wavering commitment, lures her back into the business with the promise of a meeting with the CEO, Willow. This pull towards the business causes Nick to question his decision to end his affair with Toyah for Leanne’s sake.

In tonight’s episode, Toyah and Nick are alone in their flat once again, deciding to spend a final day with Leanne and Sam before they return. But things take a dramatic turn when Leanne and Sam arrive back home earlier than expected, catching Nick and Toyah off guard. The couple scrambles to cover their tracks as Leanne walks in.

During their conversation, Leanne mentions the Institute, revealing her continued interest in it. This irritation drives Nick to make a decisive choice about his relationship with Toyah. After a heated kiss in the Bistro office, Toyah warns Nick about the risks of their public display of affection. Nick, determined to be with Toyah, declares that he no longer cares and plans to end his relationship with Leanne. He decides to pause the announcement of his breakup to avoid immediate fallout.

As tensions rise, Nick and Toyah reaffirm their love for each other, but will their plan unfold as smoothly as Nick hopes? Rowan’s manipulative actions further complicate matters.

Meanwhile, in a disturbing subplot, Leanne discovers a troubling aspect of Rowan’s behavior as she delves deeper into his control over the Institute. Leanne, who has been part of the group for some time, learns that Rowan has been forcing members to participate in a traumatic process called “uploading,” where they discuss their deepest traumas. Rowan has recently given Leanne the power to recruit new members, which leads her to focus on Amy Barlow, who is recovering from a traumatic assault.

As Leanne prepares Amy for her first session, Rowan’s true intentions become evident. Leanne notices Rowan setting up a recording app, raising her concerns about Rowan having a permanent record of Amy’s session. The session takes a dark turn, leaving Amy distressed and frightened as she endures a harsh and intimidating experience.

Actress Ella Mullen, who plays Amy, revealed her shock at the intense nature of the scenes, describing how she was unaware of the session’s full brutality. Amy, blindfolded and subjected to intense pressure, eventually flees the session in terror, despite Leanne’s assurances that it would be beneficial.
