Kit Green will find himself ‘rumbled’ next week on Coronation Street and

fans have shared their theories. Soap fans will recall that Kit made an appearance earlier

this year as Bernie Winter’s long-lost son. However, Bernie soon learnt the hard way that

she had been set up by her long-lost son, weeks on from them reuniting after decades apart. Kit can’t forgive his biological mum for abandoning him and not making contact when he was younger with him attempting to turn her other two children, Gemma Winter and Paul Foreman, against her.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, police officer Kit planted a then missing Lauren Bolton’s DNA to frame Nathan Curtis, who was arrested, with real culprit Joel Deering still at large. While last week, Kit got into secret cahoots with criminal Sid and his dodgy counterfeit T-shirt business, warning he wont say a word as long as he gets half the cut of profits.

In scenes last week, there was more mystery teased for Kit as he moved into Glenda Shuttleworth’s old room at the Rovers pub, realising it’s gossip central and will serve him nicely. Later in the week, as he moved into the Rovers, he decided to flirt with Daisy Midgeley. Meanwhile, Daisy’s love interest, Ryan Connor, was impressed with Kit’s vinyl selection and suggested going out for a drink. What does Kit want with Daisy and Ryan, and why is he moving into the Rovers?

And next week teases more drama for Kit as one resident gets very suspicious about his recent behaviour. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers have been sharing their theories about Kit from links to Joel, another family DNA twist to his sinister Rovers plan.

One person said: “Kit moving into the rovers… how long till a potential siege as he is dodgy cop.. could be a storyline to look out for potentially maybe.. not heard out but could be interesting #Corrie.” Elsewhere, another put: “I say Kit is involved more in this Lauren storyline like there’s something odd with him and could be a nice twist like maybe he knows Joel etc and maybe Kit is father of her baby #corrie”, a different account put: “I think that Kit ‘s in league with Joel . I’ve just got this feeling #Corrie”, another wrote: “I wonder if Joel is Kits brother?? #Corrie” while a different account added: “I’m convinced that Kit is involved with Joel . He’s not been brought in just to be Bernie’s long lost son #Corrie.”
