Corrie enthusiasts can expect a ton of drama next week – from an unexpected comeback to a jaw-dropping arrest that will rock the street.
The drama kicks off when Stefan buzzes Kevin for a chat to squash their beef. But when Kevin’s not around, young Jack unwittingly lets Stefan in to wait, clueless about who he is.
Chaos ensues as Abi stumbles upon Kevin eyeballing a news clip about a blaze at Stefan’s office block, remarking that he had it coming.
Cops swoop in and drag both Kevin and Abi down to the station for a grilling after they find footage of Abi lurking at Stefan’s gaff. Poor Abi’s gutted when she clocks that even Kevin reckons she might be the firestarter.
As the week heats up, DS Swain slaps the cuffs on the real arsonist, leaving the cobbles reeling. In other news, Joel’s warning Dee-Dee to keep their wedding dosh in check since his divorce is bleeding him dry. When Joel rocks up with Maeve to hang with Dee-Dee at her pad, she’s all praises about his dad skills.
But when a leaky situation calls him away, Joel’s got no choice but to take Maeve along, leaving Dee-Dee to deal with court duties.
Dee-Dee’s thrown for a loop when she cops a parcel meant for “E. Smith” outside the shop flat, thinking it’s a pressie from Joel. And over at the cop shop, Joel’s frazzled after Dee-Dee’s voice note reveals she knows about his mystery delivery.
Joel pays Lauren a visit, assuring her of his imminent move to Ireland and promising Dee-Dee his full attention in the future. When Lauren is mugged at the precinct, Max comes to her aid. Back at their flat, Joel pretends to be concerned while secretly plotting to get rid of her permanently.
Alone and in pain, Lauren clutches her stomach. Max, who has followed her to the flat, hears her cries of fear about losing the baby and bangs on the door.
In another storyline, Beth hands Craig an envelope full of cash from her secret side job, asking him to hide it as she plans a surprise for Kirk. At the factory, Beth gives Betsy her wages for the first T-shirt consignment. Maria learns about Beth’s plan to surprise Kirk with a wedding.
While at Underworld, Beth complains about the cost of wedding venues while flipping through a magazine. Betsy suggests they need to take on more side work. Beth panics when she discovers the box of counterfeit t-shirts is missing. Kirk reveals he loaded it onto the delivery van.
In a panic, Beth tries to locate the box before Carla finds out what they’ve been doing.
Elsewhere, as Amy gets ready for her Institute retreat, Rowan predicts she’s destined for success, causing Leanne to feel envious. Nick is taken aback when Rowan demands the £20k investment Nick promised in return for not reporting him for a.s.s.a.u.l.t.
In the episode, Debbie and Rita reveal to Fiz in the cafe that the head of a human trafficking group in Romania is facing trial, and Alina might be summoned as a witness.
In another scene, Fiz informs Tyrone about a holiday deal she’s found, but he doesn’t seem too excited. Meanwhile, Paul questions Asha about his decision to donate his corneas, much to Bernie’s displeasure.
