Coronation Street favourite Lisa George has shown off her incredible weight loss transformation in new photographs.
The TV star, who plays Beth Tinker in the ITV soap, posted new snaps as she got glammed up ready for a night out.
Lisa, 51, modelled a stylish pink a-line mini dress with a pair of matching pink high heels.
She paired her dress with a smart cream boucle jacket and black glasses, as well as silver jewellery. The actress wore her bright blonde hair in a sleek, straight style with a side fringe.
“Pink and cream should be seen,” she captioned her first photo, which was closely followed by a second. She added: “Twiggy style in pink.”
Lisa has undergone quite a transformation since overhauling her lifestyle over the past year. She previously revealed she’d shed a stone after cutting out certain foods from her diet.
Speaking to MailOnline, Lisa said: “I cut out so much from my diet and am a stone lighter than I was last year. I’m loving the weight I’m at now. I went out on Friday and wore a velvet suit that was a size 10. I have not been in a size 10 since I was 28! I feel like the best I’ve felt in ages even though I’ve got all these health problems.”
Lisa joined the cast of Coronation Street back in 2011, with her character initially being introduced as a love interest for Steve McDonald. Beth has since married Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) with her son Craig (Colson Smith) also joining her on the soap.
However, it was revealed in December that Lisa had made the decision to quit Coronation Street after over a decade in Weatherfield. Beth’s exit scenes have been filmed and are believed to be airing at some point over the summer, but not details about her exit storyline have been shared.
Lisa’s decision to leave Coronation Street comes after she opened up about her health issues. She has revealed she is facing going blind, as she suffers from NAION – non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. The condition causes sudden vision loss in one eye.
Lisa is one of many stars leaving the ITV soap this year. Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) is due to exit in the coming weeks while legend Gail Platt (Helen Worth) has confirmed she’ll be leaving at the end of the year.
