GH Spoilers: Will Ric’s Return Bring A Rebooted Love Story For Alexis?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may be relieved to see her ex-husband, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), again.

After all, anyone who can help shoulder the burden of what Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are going through right now is an asset to Alexis, whose heart is torn between her two daughters that are about to be at war with one another.

The fans are already wondering how long Ric might stick around, and how his presence in town will lead to him interacting with everyone else in Port Chuck — especially Alexis.

They’re bound to end up spending some time together. Could this time well spent stoke an old flame that still burns between them?

General Hospital Spoilers — It Wasn’t All Bad

In the beginning, Ric and Alexis were quite the hot and heavy couple. Of course, Ric had more skin in the game hooking up with Alexis.

He was happy to cozy up to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) ex of sorts, especially since Alexis had given birth to Sonny’s daughter, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi).

Then, he helped Alexis find her first daughter she gave up for adoption, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). They married and had their own daughter, Molly.

They both soared to the height of their careers as District Attorney of Port Charles. But alas, the higher they sailed, the further they had to fall.

GH Spoilers – Hint Alexis Davis Is Vulnerable — And Lonely

Right now, Alexis is in a tough spot — sandwiches between her two daughters. One gave birth to a baby girl who didn’t survive, and the other was expecting to raise that child.

Now, with Kristina being arrested, Alexis may feel she is once again more obligated to focus on the daughter that appears to need her help the most, even though she’s been devoting the majority of her time to Kristina already since she’s been in the hospital.

That has left Molly feeling like Alexis is favoring Kristina — the same way TJ felt about his mother-in-law before the accident. With Alexis focusing on Kristina, it’ll give Ric more time to swoop in and be there for Molly.

Alexis might be very appreciative of that. Will her heartbroken nature and lonely heart look at Ric as some sort of savior in the moment?

There has never been a shortage of women that Ric has taken advantage of. He may have genuinely cared about and loved some of them, but he was always working an agenda.
