General Hospital Spoilers: Dex’s Family Finally Revealed – Chase’s Investigation Makes a Mess?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has found a friend and mentor in Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Dex certainly appreciates having someone in his corner since he’s facing an uphill battle getting most people to accept him at the PCPD.

Due to Dex’s previous job working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), there’s been some skepticism about whether he can be trusted.

Dex is working hard to prove himself, so Chase can see the effort he’s putting in.

Chase wants Dex to succeed and shared a nice conversation with him in the July 18 episode.

Dex and Chase opened up to each other about their family backgrounds, which were quite different.

After Chase talked about how supportive Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) was and reflected on missing him, Dex wished he felt that way about anyone in his family.

Dex made it clear that he wasn’t close to his relatives and talked about wanting to create a life that was opposite of the one he had growing up.

Although Dex doesn’t have anything to do with his family now, that could change – especially if Chase does a little investigating.

There was a time when Chase was estranged from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but they later came together and built a wonderful relationship.

Misunderstandings and buried secrets once held them back from having a real bond, but Finn and Chase ultimately figured things out after they reconnected.

What if well-meaning Chase decides he should help Dex reconnect with his family, too?

It’s easy to imagine Chase trying to get in touch with Dex’s family when it’s time for his graduation from the police academy.

Could Dex’s father, mother or siblings show up and launch another round of drama?

Of course, we know from Dex’s discussions with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that his brothers used to beat him up to the point that he landed in the hospital.

Dex’s dad was also an arrogant cheater – and he didn’t have much respect for his mom either since she put up with him.

Since the situation was obviously complicated, Chase could make a mess off things if he pokes around and causes some of Dex’s family members to come to town.

No matter how all this plays out, it’s interesting that GH is bringing up Dex’s relatives again.

This might build to the addition of another character or two from the Heller clan.
