General Hospital Comings And Goings: Brad’s Shocking Return!
General Hospital spoilers tease that viewers were shocked when Brad Cooper (Perry Shen) showed up on a recent episode after not being on the air in over a year.
The last time viewers say Brad was during the farewell episode of Epiphany Jones (Sonja Eddy) back in March of 2023. But now he’s back and he wants to work at General Hospital once again. But that may not be as easy said as done given Brad’s history.
That’s why he sought out Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) to give him a recommendation. Surprisingly, at the end of their conversation, Terry agreed.
General Hospital Spoilers – Where Has Brad Cooper Been?
Brad has most likely been away from Port Charles in the past year working for his Aunt Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Selina is one of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) rivals in the mob business so there’s no telling what she’s had Brad doing during his time away.
Then again, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) left Brad her fortune when she died so he may have been travelling the world. During his first day back, Brad and Terry talked a lot about Britt.

Shen was asked by Soap Opera Digest how it felt to revisit Brad’s friendship with Britt during his first scenes with Terry. Shen answered that it was important to remember Brad and Britt’s unique history and friendship.
Shen and James only had two days to prepare for their scenes, but they were both completely prepared. In the end Brad convinced Terry to recommend him for a lab tech position at the hospital in Britt’s name.
General Hospital Spoilers – What’s Next For Brad Cooper
If Brad does get the position, that means fans will be seeing a whole lot more of him in the comings weeks. There’s a good chance Selina won’t be far behind especially if Brad ditched her to return to the hospital.
As far as love goes, he could always reunite with Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) should Lucas finally return to Port Charles.
Brad loved Lucas very much and perhaps now that enough time has passed then Lucas can eventually forgive him. But first, Brad’s going to have to get acceptance from his co-workers who are all aware of his shady past.
