General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) was the mystery captive revealed at the end of the August 23rd episode of General Hospital.

While it’s unclear exactly who has taken Lucky prisoner it looks like he’s been roughed up quite a bit.When he was first shown, he was in chains and his head was covered with a hood, concealing his identity. He was also sporting a fairly deep cut on one of his arms. Clearly, Lucky has been tortured at least to an extent.

General Hospital Spoilers – Who Has Taken Lucky Spencer Captive?

While it’s still not clear who has taken Lucky prisoner, it’s likely someone he knows. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is due to become a part of Lucky’s storyline in the next couple of weeks, most likely as another prisoner of the mystery captor.Typically, the Cassadine family would be the first suspects but only Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is roaming around and he’s got other irons in the fire so he’s not likely involved. But if not a Cassadine, then who?

GH Spoilers – Where Is Jennifer Smith?

One possibility is Jennifer Smith (last played by Holly Gagnier). When last seen, Jennifer was being arrested for the theft of the Ice Princess.

But Jennifer was also quietly amassing power on the west coast, eventually planning to come to Port Charles and take over Sonny Corinthos” (Maurice Bernard) territory, by force if necessary.But even more telling was the fact that she was obsessed with Lucky’s father, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). Now that Luke’s dead, she might have transferred her obsession toward Luke’s son.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lucky Spencer Is Needed In Port Charles!

Although he’s in quite the mess right now, Lucky will eventually be needed in Port Charles.

His younger sister, Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) is showing signs of liver failure and may possibly need a transplant, and Lucky could very well be a donor match.

One things for sure, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be thrilled once Lucky returns home assuming he gets out of his current mess.
