General Hospital Week of August 19 Preview: Ava’s Gigantic Mistake, Kristina Arrested and Betrayed, Sonny & Jason Strike Back
General Hospital spoilers reveal a new preview video has been released for the week of August 19 through August 23, 2024. It shows John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) arresting Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
The General Hospital weekly preview shows Kristina livid to learn the baby was named without her. Ava Jerome (Maura West) telling Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that she made a gigantic mistake. Plus, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) discovers who tampered with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) meds.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis Arrested
GH spoilers for the week of August 19 reveal that the preview clip begins where Friday’s episode, August 16, left off.
Just as Kristina is getting discharged from the hospital, John zooms to the hospital to place her under arrest.
Now, Sonny was the one who kept telling Kristina to be patient. Meanwhile, John told Ava he was going to force Sonny’s hand.
John thinks he knows exactly how Sonny will react to Krsitina’s arrest. So, Sonny better hold it together or he will be playing right into John’s hand.
GH Spoilers: Baby Name Drama
The preview also shows Kristina and Molly having a confrontation. Kristina learns that Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) named the baby without her.
Even though it would have been nice to include Kristina, Molly and TJ were under pressure and facing time constraints.
Plus, Kristina’s agreement was that the baby belonged to Molly and TJ. Nevertheless, Molly and TJ have come across as entitled and ungrateful.
With Kristina thinking the pictures convict Ava as Molly believes the photos clear her, how bad will this get?
If Kristina and Molly start fighting again, could the sisters be pitted against each other in court?
Ava Jerome’s Horror
General Hospital spoilers reveal that the preview video also shows Ava paying a visit to Nina.
Even though Nina said their friendship was over, Ava really doesn’t have anyone else to turn to right now.
Ava tells Nina that she might have made a gigantic mistake. That mistake was trusting and partnering with John.
Ava knows this is going to end very badly… especially for her!

Fans will also see Anna meet with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Anna demands to know who was messing with Sonny’s meds.
Without missing a beat, Jason says it was Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
With Anna having let Valentin get away, she could embark on a mission to find the fugitive and save him from Sonny and Jason’s wrath.
Valentin will either have to earn redemption somehow or prove his hand was forced. We shall see, so stay tuned!
The video shows Sonny and Jason meeting in a vehicle and the look on Sonny’s face spells big trouble for his enemies!
Sonny and Stone Cold will be striking back, hard, and everyone from John, to Ava, to Valentine best beware.
