There’s heartbreak ahead for Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and family when a loved one decides it’s the end of the road for their time in Emmerdale.

Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) approaches Laurel with his huge bombshell – boyfriend Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) 

wants them to pack up and leave and move as far away from his lying parents as they can.

Suni wants to appease his partner, but is torn over what he’d be giving up, having been abandoned 

by his own dad but taken in by his new family Laurel and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson).

This gives Suni food for thought, but Nicky is determined that they leave for a fresh start – 

with his mum Ruby Fox-Miligan’s (Beth Cordingly) involvement in Ethan Anderson’s (Emile John) hit and run just prior to his untimely death, Nicky wants to distance himself.
