However, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) gets one step closer to the truth on the BBC soap next week. 

After promoting Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) to manager at Beales’ Eels to in a bid to snatch moments with Junior last week.

Forthcoming scenes see Peter (Thomas Law)  annoyed to have been overlooked for the position. 

Girlfriend Lauren reasons there must be another reason for Cindy’s decision, as she would not do Bobby a favour without motive. 

Junior later overhears Peter, Lauren and half-sister Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) speculating.

About Cindy in The Vic and offers Peter a job on his new contract to keep him out of their way.

Cindy is incensed to discover Peter is going to work for Junior and offers him the manager’s job at Beale’s Eels, ready to demote Bobby. When that doesn’t work, she orders Junior not to hire Peter, but he refuses. 

Later on, a suspicious Lauren quizzes Cindy on why she’s so determined to stop Peter working with Junior. 

In a bit to keep their liaison under wraps, Cindy tells a lie to discredit Junior – but will it be enough to throw Lauren off the scent?
