EastEnders is set to introduce a new mystery involving Teddy Mitchell next week, as he announces a big move.

It has become clear that Teddy and his sons Harry and Barney are planning on sticking around in Walford, even after Stevie’s exit last month.
Meanwhile, Chelsea has recently been left looking for a place to live, when she found out that Gray – who is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence – is selling up.
In scenes that will air next week, Chelsea moves into the very crowded No.20, and is upset as she leaves No.1 behind.

Denise wants to be there for her daughter amid the upheaval, and she tells Chelsea that she will help her to rebuild her life.

But it turns out that No.1 already has a new owner, as it will be revealed that Teddy has bought it for him and his boys to have a fresh start.

Teddy tells Billy and Honey about his new purchase, but they are perhaps less than pleased, and they explain to him that Gray killed both Chantelle and Tina in that house.
While Teddy is unfazed by this morbid revelation, Harry makes an insensitive comment to Chelsea, and his dad marches him round to No.20 to apologise to her.
Viewers don’t know much about the new Mitchells and their past, but Teddy reminds Harry of the trouble they have left behind and says they need to make friends with their new neighbours.
To do this, they decide to host a housewarming party, and as Teddy invites people, his charm manages to get even Chelsea and Kim on side.

But as the party is in full swing, Chelsea is shocked to find out that Teddy insisted on a last-minute clause in his deal when he bought Gray’s house.
Later, in an intriguing conversation, Harry tells his dad that “you know who” has been seen around their old place, trying to find out where the family has moved to.
But Teddy doesn’t seem worried about this, and he tells Harry that he has got everything under control.
What is the clause that Teddy put in the deal with Gray, and just who is Harry talking about?
