Corrie: Kit is actually Willow, disguised using AI imagery. And that’s why he has money to buy Gemma’s apartment because all the Institute’s funds are channeled into him!

Coronation Street fans have a new theory about the true identity of The Institute’s CEO, Willow. Earlier this year, viewers were introduced to the dubious “self-improvement group” The Institute, which has been scamming vulnerable individuals out of their money.

The cult, led by Rowan Cunliffe (Emhrys Cooper), managed to draw in Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney). However, after conning Amy out of her £40,000 inheritance, things took a turn.

A few months back, Willow made an appearance via a Zoom call, leading fans to believe it was AI and not the real Willow on screen. But after Amy left the group, a panicked Rowan called Willow, indicating they had a problem.

He also tried to convince Leanne of Willow’s investment in changing her life.

Now, fans are speculating that the person on the Zoom call wasn’t Willow at all, but another resident of the cobbles. Some viewers have suggested that the mysterious newcomer Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) could be Willow, using AI to hide his identity, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Kit, a corrupt police officer, arrived on the street earlier this year and has already stirred up plenty of drama.

Corrie viewers have been piecing together clues that could link scheming Stephen Reid to the mysterious Institute. The fans took to a Corrie Facebook fan page, buzzing about the potential connection after Stephen’s recent spending spreewhich includes buying sister Gemma’s houseraised eyebrows.

The plot thickened as one fan posted: “Kit.”

Another chimed in with agreement, writing: “I thought that.”

Further fueling the speculation, another observer noted: “Yeah I did too as how would he have the money to buy Gemma and Chesney’s house for them and another in red bank like he mentioned the other day.”

This Wednesday’s episode (September 4) saw Leanne finally see the cult for what it is, discovering files used to blackmail members on Rowan’s computer. She discovered the snap of Nick and Toyah snogging, which left her bereft.

But she’s vowed to get revenge on the cult alongside Amy – even after initially failing to see Rowan as at fault at all.

Fans of Coronation Street are buzzing with a new theory about the mysterious CEO of The Institute, Willow. The shady self-improvement group has been causing chaos on the cobbles, with Rowan Cunliffe at the helm. However, after Willow’s appearance on a Zoom call, viewers are starting to question if Willow is really who they claim to be. Some believe that Willow could actually be Kit Green, the corrupt police officer who recently arrived on the street. Could Kit be using AI to mask their true identity and manipulate the members of The Institute? The plot thickens as fans connect the dots between Stephen Reid’s spending spree and the Institute’s shady dealings. Could there be a sinister connection between the two? In a recent episode, Leanne finally saw through the facade of The Institute and uncovered the blackmail files that Rowan had been using to control members. She was devastated to discover a compromising photo of Nick and Toyah, but now she’s on a mission for revenge alongside Amy. Despite initially falling under Rowan’s spell, Leanne is determined to bring down the cult and expose their true intentions. As the mystery of Willow deepens, viewers can’t help but speculate on the true identity of the elusive CEO and their connection to the chaos unfolding on the cobbles. Stay tuned for more twists and turns as the truth about The Institute is revealed.
