Over the years, Sonny Corinthos has shown us one thing: he is extraordinarily fertile. Despite not being Michael’s biological father, he has fathered four children and would have had five more if not for tragic miscarriages and deaths. Among these losses was Morgan, who died in a car explosion caused by Ava tampering with his medication. However, it seems Sonny might soon have another son.

Let’s start with Tracy Quartermaine. Today, she revealed details about J’s past with Cari, explaining how her nephew’s father died before knowing he was going to be a father. After his mother’s death, Sonny took over the boy’s expenses from the age of ten. This generous act raises some red flags, as Sonny never mentioned Gio to anyone, not even to Cari.

This revelation is strange. Why would Sonny act so selflessly and stay silent about it? Perhaps it’s because he slept with Gio’s mother just before she got pregnant. Sonny might have doubted Gio’s paternity but believed it was better for Gio to have a heroic father than a crime boss. When Gio’s mother died, Sonny decided to support Gio without discussing the possibility of his paternity.

This situation became complicated when Gio appeared in Port Charles, coinciding with Ava’s actions toward Morgan being revisited and Brian Craig’s upcoming special appearance in August. Ava’s recent substitution of Sonny’s bipolar medication with a placebo might bring Morgan’s spirit back to save Sonny from harm, potentially leading Sonny to accept Gio into the family.

Meanwhile, General Hospital is preparing a tribute for the late actress Jackie Zeman, who played Bobbie Spencer for nearly 40 years. Zeman passed away in May 2023 from cancer. The tribute will include guest stars and will air this autumn on Popstar before being available on Peacock and VOD. The special episode, titled “Sophia,” will honor Zeman’s legacy, featuring significant guest stars like D. Wallace, who will play Sophia’s sister, and Lee Mosi, portraying Sophia’s first husband.

In other news, Tracy Quartermaine has become more approachable but remains fierce when on a crusade. Recently, Tracy learned something from Cody Bell that might upend her family. Sasha Gilmore saw Drew Quartermaine kissing Willow Tate, which made her uncomfortable enough to tell Cody. Although Cody warned Sasha she didn’t know the whole story, Sasha might find it hard to keep this from Michael.

Initially, Tracy thought Cody was a scam artist, but he has found his true calling caring for the Quartermaine stables. Cody confided in Tracy about his life, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he mentioned Willow and Drew’s kiss. Tracy, who has no close relationship with Michael or Drew but is related to them, might take drastic steps to protect her family from scandal, even threatening Drew to keep Willow away from him.
