Y&R certainly seems to be pushing Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) closer in preparation for their breakups.
It’s easy to imagine Sally and Billy enjoying a night of passionate revenge, but it’s also possible their connection could blossom into a real relationship.
Sally is definitely a love interest possibility for Billy, but maybe we shouldn’t count out Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) either.
Billy was upset when he realized Lily had been playing him and planned to leave Abbott-Chancellor all along.
However, Lily is also showing signs of concern when it comes to Devon Hamilton-Winters’ (Bryton James) lack of trust and controlling personality.
At some point, Lily may realize abandoning Billy to work at Winters would be a disastrous move.
It’ll rile Devon up if Lily sticks with Billy, but there could be even more family conflict if Lily actually ends up working at Winters.
It feels like Devon can’t handle anyone who might be a threat to his autonomy, so it’s a bad idea for Lily to migrate over to Winters and start butting heads with him.
Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the demerger that was meant to stop all the infighting?
Whatever the case, Lily hasn’t made a firm decision yet on whether she’ll actually leave Billy behind.
If Lily decides to help lead Abbott-Chancellor into the future like Billy wants, that’ll give him a reason to grow closer to her again.
Billy and Lily could be tempted to reunite romantically if all this plays out, but some Sally temptation could complicate things and turn this into quite the love triangle!
