One interesting one is the fact that he’s agreed to lead Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) more recent acquisition, jumping into the co-CEO role at Glissade, along with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Another major thing in Kyle’s life is his budding romance to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). She’s just as smitten with him, as he is with her. Still, one person who doesn’t seem overly pleased with the two getting to know each other is The Moustache.

Y&R spoilers for Friday’s show saw Victor leaving Society from a meeting with Kyle, only for Claire to walk in and grab some takeout.

The Moustache stopped to lovingly enjoy some small talk with his newfound granddaughter. He was a bit worried about her (out and about on her own), but she assured him that she was fine.

As Victor left, Claire approached Kyle, and the two began talking. Victor glared through the windows of Society from the outside, as he stared and Kylaire smiling, joking, and laughing. He didn’t seem happy about the two becoming friends.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Isn’t A Fan

One look at Victor’s face and fans can tell he isn’t pleased with Claire and Kyle together. In fact, he recently declared he wants the entire Newman family to stay away from the Abbotts.

His other granddaughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), is Kyle’s ex, and that marriage ended on an ugly note. Summer is now forever tied to the Abbotts through Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell). The Moustache likely doesn’t want a repeat of the Skyle scenario.

Sure, Victor has awarded Kyle the co-CEO spot at Glissade, but fans know the Moustache is just using the young Abbott to get back at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Victor has been successful at ruining pretty much every relationship Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been in, so will he continue this tradition with her daughter?

Victor Newman is not known for his approval of certain relationships in Genoa City, and it seems that Kyle and Claire’s budding romance is no exception. The Moustache’s disapproval was evident in the recent episode of Young and the Restless, where he visibly showed his disdain for the two getting closer.

It’s clear that Victor has some reservations about Kyle’s involvement with the Abbott family, especially considering the tumultuous history between the Newmans and the Abbotts.
