Since Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) chose to save Sally’s life when there was little possibility for their kid to survive, she holds him accountable for the tragic choice.

Elena’s whereabouts have been questioned by certain followers, and there are even rumors that she may have absconded with the child.

Sally would have something to fight for knowing that Elena had her kid after all, and the plot would be considerably less painful as a result. Elena would become even less likeable as a result of the awful character dynamics that would result.

While some people think she stole Sally’s child, many are only now learning that she hasn’t even been in the picture.

For a long time, Elena was a supporting figure who infrequently intervened in the lives of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) or Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She has been really forgetful lately though.

Perhaps it was her entire strategy, though. She may have wanted to make a huge splash or at least have someone who needed and wanted her around because she felt so excluded from the guys in her life through the years and always played second fiddle. Wait for Ava. Elena would feel appreciated and be able to fulfil Ava’s desire for caretakers.

Although that would be a major plot surprise, I believe it is highly likely to occur. We wouldn’t have to be as heartbroken about Sally and Adam losing their young child, and the plots would be a bit more interesting.

They would have something to work through as a couple, and ideally they’d finish up together the way they were supposed to!
