Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle may need to watch her back, after making an enemy of Tom King on the ITV soap.

The character is well and truly on to villain Tom and his abusive behaviour, with someone finally seeing him for what he really is. Tom has been coercively controlling wife Belle Dingle for months, isolating her from her loved ones, controlling her life and manipulating her.

Things turned violent in a recent episode, and when Belle planned to flee Tom it backfired and he found out. Tom has her under his control, and has continued to distance her from her own family, including Charity.

But Charity knows something is wrong and is determined to get to the bottom of it all. She knows Belle isn’t herself and is hiding something, and she knows Tom isn’t who everyone thinks he is.

Charity has not been able to fully convince anyone else that Belle might be in trouble, but she has definitely made her mind up on Tom. Things did not go to plan though with Belle lashing out at her and refusing to open up, before telling Tom what Charity had been saying.

In a sinister moment Belle fled, leaving Charity with Tom and Paddy Kirk. As she vowed to speak to Belle he shouted out at her to leave Belle alone, claiming she was struggling.

He warned Charity to “stay away”, before giving her a sinister look to back off. It was clear from the interaction she knew what was going on, and he knew she was now a threat.

Back at the house, Belle refused to take a phone call from Charity and slammed her to her husband. She told Tom that Charity had been badmouthing him to her and the other women, and as she walked away Tom seemed happy to have driven a wedge between them.

He then seemed intent on getting Belle away from the village and her family as soon as possible. So does he feel threatened by Charity, and could this leave her in danger?

Given how he was with her and the look he gave her during their little showdown, it’s clear he needs to stop her from exposing him. So could Tom end up lashing out at Charity just like he did Vinny Dingle a few months back, and could Charity be in serious peril?

Charity Dingle may need to be cautious as she continues to uncover the truth about Tom King’s abusive behavior on Emmerdale. Her determination to help Belle Dingle escape his control has put her in a dangerous position, especially after Belle turned against her and sided with Tom.

Despite the warning signs and Tom’s attempts to isolate Belle further, Charity remains determined to expose him for who he really is. But her persistence could put her in harm’s way, as Tom becomes more threatened by her interference.

As the tension rises between Charity and Tom, viewers are left wondering if Charity will become the next target of his violent outbursts. The stakes are high as Charity refuses to back down, risking her own safety to protect Belle and bring Tom to justice.
