The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) claims she’s committed to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but she has to know she’s runner-up in his heart.

Thomas never would’ve turned to Paris if Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) had accepted his marriage proposal, so that has to sting for Paris deep down.

It could also affect Paris’ actions moving forward if doubts start creeping in about Thomas’ loyalty.

We should mention that Paris will have a sweet scene or two with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at the upcoming Fourth of July party.

Carter will probably congratulate Paris on her engagement to Thomas and hope that she has the happy life she deserves.

However, the exchange could easily get both Paris and Carter thinking about what might’ve been.

Paris was all set to marry Carter until he dumped her at the altar for Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), but that decision obviously didn’t work out very well on Carter’s end.

Quinn ultimately devastated Carter when she abruptly walked away from their relationship and left Los Angeles.

That leaves Carter back in the familiar position of craving a loving, stable relationship. Carter could’ve had a bright future with Paris, so he might regret letting her go.

What if Paris also starts thinking about all the “what ifs” and grows closer to Carter again? Could Paris surrender to temptation with Carter and ultimately cheat on Thomas?

If so, that would give heartbroken Thomas a great reason to go running back to Hope! Thomas might realize commitment isn’t all it’s cracked up to be if someone isn’t willing to honor their word.

Perhaps Thomas could become rather disillusioned with the idea of marriage at that point.

If Paris throws away the pledge she’s made, that might be enough for Thomas to shift his perspective.

Could Hope and Thomas eventually get another chance to be together? Will Paris betray Thomas with Carter and send Thomas back in Hope’s direction?
