Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) and Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) snuck into the office at Peggy’s last night in EastEnders, ready to continue their affair.
As they locked the door, Cindy and Junior were oblivious to the event unfolding outside the room.
After Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) sabotaged the booking system for Penny’s (Kitty Castledine) event, multiple people filed into Peggy’s. Eventually, the establishment became incredibly overcrowded, resulting in a crush taking place.
The only available exit that wasn’t blocked was also in the same office Junior and Cindy were hiding in. When the door burst open, Junior rushed out of the exit with the crowd – but Lauren did spot Cindy inside.

Lauren was knocked to the floor seconds later and then rushed to hospital after being trampled on.
Meanwhile, inside the pub, a curious Ian (Adam Woodyatt) wondered why Cindy was in Peggy’s after previously claiming she had a migraine.
She said that she had missed Ian after his time in America and wanted to go and find him, but hid under a table when the commotion unfolded.
Because Cindy never mentioned hiding under a table in an office, it gives Lauren the perfect opportunity to work out she has lied to Ian.
Due to the fact Lauren never saw Junior though, can Cindy spin another lie to keep her off the scent?
Or will Lauren be the one to expose her affair?
