General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that before Ava Jerome (Maura West) got wrapped up with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington), she was on a road to redemption. Her friendship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), as well as Laura Collins (Genie Francis), has helped navigate her toward a better life; however, with the switch up in writers on the soap as of late, the character has been written into a corner.
Then the Metro Court pool accident occurred, which claimed the life of Baby Irene Marie and placed Ava as public enemy #1 in many characters’ minds.
Still, even before that, Ava changing Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) bipolar meds to placebos wasn’t a good look.
It seemed as if Ava was heading down another villainess path, especially when Trina caught Ava closing the blinds to her Metro Court suite after Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) took that shocking plunge out of the window.
Still, in the land of soaps, anyone is redeemable, and things could change at the drop of a hat.
While Trina did tell the police what she saw Ava do, some conversations after the fact have revealed that it looks as if Trina and Ava’s friendship will not be affected by what happened some weeks ago (or Josslyn Jack’s (Eden McCoy) opinion of Ava).
Could this mean that Ava is back on the road to being a decent person? For her to make a full turn she would have to do something massively heroic.
Considering the bad blood between Kristina and Ava right now, it’s hard to believe that either woman would go above and beyond to save the other, but these two ladies have a lot more in common than what meets the eye; both know the devastating loss of losing a child.
Kristina’s mental health could very well spiral in the weeks ahead. Losing a baby after carrying it to full term can cause a flood of emotions, and with the confrontation Kristina had with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) at the baby’s funeral, Kristina could start feeling like she is to blame for Irene Marie’s passing.
Could she attempt to take her own life? GH gets very raw when it comes to mental health and there is a good possibility that they will go down this road with Kristina.
Her father, Sonny, recently tried to do the same by almost jumping off the hospital’s rooftop. Could his daughter find herself in the same predicament?
What if Ava sees this coming? Would she go above and beyond to ensure that Kristina doesn’t do what she intends to do? Sit with the young lady and talk it out.
Have her realize that what happened wasn’t Kristina’s fault (or anyone’s for that matter)? Could Ava allow herself to become vulnerable and reveal her feelings of guilt around Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) passing?
Plus, love it or hate it, Kristina is Avery Corinthos’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) sister, and the little girl would be devastated to lose her.
General Hospital spoilers hint that anything is possible in the land of Port Charles.
Ava has done some terrible things, but if she were to find out Kristina was thinking about taking her life, and she could stop that from happening, she’d go the extra mile to do so.
This would definitely place Ava back in the good books of pretty much everyone in town.
