A number of Walford residents are currently trapped in Peggy’s in EastEnders.
This episode of the BBC One soap primarily focused on an event Penny (Kitty Castledine) had organised in the bar. She was feeling the pressure in her new role and hoped enough people would buy tickets to make the event successful.
One person desperate to sabotage Penny’s big night was Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams), who lost her role after drinking on the job and watched Penny take it immediately after.
Chelsea decided to meddle with the system online by increasing the amount of tickets that could be purchased. When Penny and Zack (James Farrar) checked the website, it made it look as though they weren’t doing a good enough job at promoting the event.
As word got round on social media, the likes of Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), Peter (Thomas Law) and Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) all decided to attend.
However, as the queue outside got longer, and more people started to file in, things became dangerous.
Inside, Ian (Adam Woodyatt), Alfie (Shane Richie) and Howie (Delroy Atkins) joined fellow residents Bobby (Clay Milner Russell), Vinny (Shiv Jalota) and Freddie (Bobby Brazier). Meanwhile, Cindy (Michelle Collins) and Junior (Micah Balfour) were hiding in an office continuing their affair, unaware of what was unfolding outside.

As panic started to set in, Zack quickly realised the space was overcrowded and people needed to start leaving.But with exits full of people and doors trapped, it left characters like Kim, Amy and Bobby all gasping for air.
