BETH Tinker’s exit storyline has now been revealed, and she’s set to make an enemy of one of the soap’s villains.
Lisa George, 51, has played the long-running character for over a decade, first joining the soap in 2011.
Back in December last year, we revealed that the actress sensationally quit the soap after 13 years on-screen.
We also reported that her final scenes would air over the summer and would be ‘as dramatic as she is’.
Now her full exit storyline has been revealed as her secret side hustle scheme comes to a head.
Previously, she roped Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) and Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) into helping her.
They all made knock-off t-shirts at the factory behind the back of Carla Connor (Alison King).
They were almost caught out when Kirk (Andy Whyment) accidentally put the wrong box onto the delivery van.
Kit (Jacob Roberts) and Craig (Colson Smith) caught her in the act of trying to sell the stock to Sid.
Although Craig thinks the scheme has come to an end, Kit covered up her crime and wanted a cut of his own.
Now, Beth will become enraged when she’s set to discover that Sid will sell the stock himself.
She is set to catch him in the act of trying to shift the t-shirts in the precinct, as she thinks he wants to keep all the profits.
He’ll be watched intensely, but then Beth will be caught by surprise when Kit will arrive on the scene.
The police detective then issues a bombshell of his own as he hands her a wad of cash.
Kit will then blackmail Beth as he issues her a surprise ultimatum.
He is set to say that he wants her out of Weatherfield by the end of this week, or Craig’s career in the force will be over.
However, Kirk will tell her that he simply cannot live without Beth or her support.
Her partner and colleague will reveal their pet Peanut who will be donning a handkerchief that reads, ‘Marry Me?’.
But with Kit’s blackmail on her mind, will she agree to the proposal or leave Kirk out in the cold?
