General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 22, reveal that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) will fume now that she’s found the custody papers and knows Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was planning on keeping the baby for herself.

However, Molly won’t have much time to deal with that since the funeral is about to start soon.

Although Molly will feel devastated and alone, she’ll get some surprise comfort from her dad since Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will make it back to Port Charles in time for the service.

Ric will share a warm reunion with Molly and let her know he’s so sorry about this crushing loss.

There’ll be some sweet moments, but drama will eventually break out during the funeral since Kristina will decide she has something to say.

GH spoilers say Kristina will cross the line, so she might publicly insist it’s HER baby and perhaps even announce a name change since she wasn’t included in selecting one.

At some point, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will share a quiet scene with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and suggest it’s hard loving someone you know you can’t have.

Willow’s comment may be about the baby loss on the surface, but her mind may secretly drift to Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) as well.

Over with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she’ll tell Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that she still has hope for Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Josslyn doesn’t trust Ava at all, but she may decide she has to trust Trina to make her own decisions about who her friends are.

Ahead of a Home and Heart appearance, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will ask for Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) honest opinion on something.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also try to get to the bottom of Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) true motives, so she’ll ask what’s in it for Natalia and perhaps wonder why she’s so determined to stay in Port Charles.

At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will admit to James West (Gary James Fuller) that he didn’t tell the truth about something really important.

James will get a kid-friendly version of why Mac Scorpio (John J. York) lashed out, so Cody will help him understand the situation as best as he can.

Of course, the details may not matter all that much to James, who’ll remain thrilled over the news that Cody is his uncle.

At the gallery, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will give Ava updates on an offer and make it clear that she needs to take it. if Ava doesn’t, Sonny will suggest there’ll be nowhere she can hide.

Our GH predictions point to Sonny recruiting Ava as an ally against John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington), so she may be able to save herself if helps him take down John.
