General Hospital Spoilers: Is Valentin Headed Back To Port Charles To Take The Heat Off Of Anna?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) left Port Charles with only moments’ notice, courtesy of Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). At the time, Valentin wasn’t thrilled with his lady love.

She may have been trying to give him and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) a way out, but she was the reason he was in trouble to begin with, and she wasn’t willing to abscond away with him for good.

That could’ve severed all ties between them but it seemed like Valentin truly did love Anna, even though he didn’t always do right by her. Will he when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and even Special FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) start to zero in on her to lure Valentin out of hiding?

General Hospital Spoilers — John Cates Isn’t Finished with Valentin Cassadine

If Anna thinks John is finished with his case on Pikeman just because he can’t find his man, she’s got another thing coming.

John has been fairly preoccupied by his latest case — working his personal agenda against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but that doesn’t mean he has forgotten about how much he still wants to bring Valentin to justice for heading up Pikeman. If he can find a way to use Anna to get Valentin to come out of hiding, all the better.

Piling on top of the pre-existing issues with Valentin, Sonny has now discovered the truth about who was messing with his bipolar meds.

Normally, he would have one of his hit men drag Valentin into a meat locker right away before brutally interrogating him — and often, worse. But Valentin has dropped off the planet, and even Sonny may have a hard time using his means to track him down.

Of course, Jason knows that Anna gave him the heads up to get away. As Jason reams Anna all over again, despite her having no way of knowing it was Valentin who was sabotaging Sonny’s mental health, will she agree to help find Valentin and bring him back?

If not, will Sonny go after Anna for interfering with the investigation the FBI had underway, and can he do so without implicating Jason?

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna DeVane Could Take The Fall For Her Paramour

Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is pushing for WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and Anna to help her find Valentin. It’s both a professional and personal goal for her, since she doesn’t want to live out her days without knowing where her granddaughter is and what happened to her.

Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) circumstances changing could add fuel to the fire to track Charlotte down, too. But Jack and John could both turn on Anna — as could Jason and Sonny — if she doesn’t cooperate soon.

If Valentin is keeping tabs on what is happening with his lady love back home, will he alleviate this burden and come back to turn himself in and free her from everyone’s wrath? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
