Viewers tuning into Emmerdale on Wednesday were shown Tom King had a plan for Belle Dingle, with spoilers confirming what it is.

The character has remained obsessed with his wife despite her calling time on their marriage. 

Tom had been coercively controlling her for months, manipulating her, controlling her and isolating her from her family.

After he turned violent, things escalated and in a recent episode Belle left Tom. She has yet to confirm to anyone in the village why she ended things, or the abuse she has endured.

This has allowed Tom to play the worried husband and the victim, as if it’s all Belle’s doing. 

Since Belle’s exit, he has continued to pester her with messages, and also keeps asking her loved ones about her.

With the news she was set to return to the village this week, Wednesday’s episode saw him plotting something and seeming pretty pleased with himself. 

He’s not stopped going on to his family about wanting Belle back, with him urged to give her the space she needs.

He was back to plotting in the latest episode, getting excited for Belle’s return having already snuck into their home in her absence despite him meant to be staying elsewhere. He soon revealed he had something planned, as he was shown on the phone to someone discussing something he’d lined up for Belle.

While he didn’t say what it was, he asked the person not to tell Belle and to keep it between them. As he put the phone down he began smirking, but what is he up to?

New spoilers have revealed what it is Tom has up his sleeve, as he works on winning Belle over and manipulating her once more. She’s horrified when he’s in their home on Thursday, and once again he tries to convince her to try their relationship again.

Prior to this, it’s revealed the chat on the phone was Tom buying Belle a car it seems, as he gifts her with a retro mini. Tom soon leaves Belle stressed when he reveals he wants to talk about them getting back together.

She puts her foot down, and so he attempts to guilt trip her into getting back with him. He tries all his tricks to talk her round but Belle remains strong, with him soon walking away – but it’s revealed he’s not done yet, and a twist is confirmed.

It comes ahead of Tom’s exit from the show, with James Chase bowing out of the role. It’s thought he’s filmed his final scenes while this has yet to be confirmed.
